Unity Street Photography

10 Unity Street is a large apartment development in Bristol, containing around 70 units, converted from an old university building a few years ago.  It’s got a great feel to it with massive high ceilings, carved stone detailing and all this just 100 yards from the city centre.

Jellyfish Video - ten for the price of one!

Regular client top-end fish tank specialists Aquarium Architecture recently commissioned us to shoot their latest creations in Manchester. The two huge salt water tanks were made for the Chaophraya Group of Thai restaurants and are believed to be the largest private jellyfish tanks in the UK.

HD/SD thoughts

When we start a project, there’s always a decision to be made about what video format to shoot on – Standard Definition (SD) or High Definition (HD). SD was for many years the norm for us, shooting in DVCam, and indeed most of the films you can see on our website are shot this way. The turning point for me as a director / cameraman came when I got a phone call a couple of years ago from a client frantic that their newly-commissioned video looked “terrible” in the just-finished marketing suite…

Surrey… Bali-Style

We’ve worked for the London Basement Company for over 2 years now, making 3 long films (12- 17 mins) for dvd distribution and countless shorter cut-downs / client testimonials / celebrity PR interviews for the web. We’ve also taken stills of their basement work, both in-progress and completed. We even took the company staff mug shots for their new website.
