Aquarium Film Finished
Our film for top-end fish tank specialists Aquarium Architecture is now complete (as previewed in our Fish and Footballers blog below). In total, we filmed 1x day in Manchester and 2x days in London, packing in no less than 9x fish tanks. These ranged from a small bedroom marine pair flanking a TV and a fresh water bar-top piranha tank… to Stephen Ireland’s free-standing hallway reef and an even bigger 5m long marine aquarium which takes up one entire wall of a chic Docklands apartment.
We also filmed at the factory (see our HD / SD thoughts blog above), at an architect’s practice and on a building site where a potential client (acting for a Premiership footballer again!) was checking out the options.
The production challenge was then to reduce the 10 hours of footage to a slick and stylish 4 minute film that showcase the products and services of Aquarium Architecture. After rough cuts, the team visited our studio in Bristol for the final tweaking and the film was complete. Delivery was on Flash .flv web files for the Aquarium Architecture website and full HD Quicktime .mov files for display on a laptop when visiting prospective customers.
As well as the images of aquarium design, manufacturing, installation and complete tanks, the film includes testimonial interviews with happy customers – architect Nicolas Khalili from HWO Architects, developer Ashley Ward from Bilton Ward and private clients alike.
