Barrister New City Chambers Video

We’re currently working with top London barristers’ set QEB Hollis Whiteman to produce a corporate video to showcase their services and pedigree as a chambers. The film also coincides with their recent radical move away from the Inns of Court to new premises in the heart of the City of London.

You need to upgrade your Flash Player to version 9 or newer.

We won the commission through word-of-mouth and have been asked to produce 3x versions of the film with different durations / emphases. It’s an exciting project for us - the legal world is a new sector of business for Beeston Media, although our track record in high-end property filming, authentic testimonials and classy imagery means we are confident of producing some top quality pieces.

We’ve so far shot 2 out of the 3 scheduled days, including barrister / clerk interviews, client testimonials and general shots of work in progress on the kitting out of the new HQ. We’ve also shot pieces-to-camera with top legal journalist Joshua Rosenberg who is fronting the film and classic, sunny GVs of London to provide a topographical context.

On a technical note, we are shooting the film on the Panasonic Varicam HPX 2700 - a lovely tapeless HD video camera, as used by the BBC Natural History Unit for all their big budget global wildlife series. The picture quality is stunning and there’s the added bonus of a quick and easy switch to 50 frame mode, for classy slow motion. This is particularly effective for those long lens shots of crowds across the Millennium Bridge.

The final day’s shoot where we film QEB’s staff installed in the new premises is a couple of weeks away. In the meantime, you can see an interim film above (also showing on the QEB website) which concentrates solely on the new building aspect of the story.
