QEB Hollis Whiteman Films
We’ve finished the 07’00” launch film for top London barristers set QEB Hollis Whiteman. It features interviews with QEB personnel, happy customer testimonials from solicitor clients, all held together by Legal Commentator Joshua Rozenberg. The imagery comes from shots of the new chambers building and stylish GVs of the City.
With this phase of production complete, we have now moved on to rework the material into a number of other films.
The move itself is old news now, so we have recut the film into a 3 minute ‘About Us’ piece for the QEB website. We’ve also produced separate short films on ‘Direct Access to the Bar’ and ‘Client Testimonials’. Finally, we’ve cut three barrister profile films to let potential clients see their proposed brief in action, before signing up.
This use and re-use of material is a good example of how a bit of planning before a shoot can lead to increased value for the client. Apart from the ‘About Us’ piece, which is basically just a cut-down of the launch film, the other bonus films take most of their content from the merely asking a few more questions during key interviews. The hard (and expensive) work to get interviewees and film crew in the same room had been done - and paid for by a separate budget - so it became a very cost effective way of getting some extra video content.
As a further bonus, the fact that we shot the film HD, meant that QEB could use frame grabs from the video as stills on their website - totally for free!
